Illuman Great Lakes collaborates to support a growing community of men with their inner spiritual work that makes a difference in this world.

Join us for a 10-week online workshop beginning on Monday, October 7, 2024 (thru December 9, 2024)!
We'll meet for 90 minutes every Monday evening to practice presence and learn together how we may more often experience peace and God's spiritual presence in our lives.
During our weekly gathering we will have a short program going into more depth on each of the chapters in the Choosing Presence book. We will then break into smaller council groups with prompts for men to discuss and share their experience of practicing presence.
There is no obligation for men who register to participate in all ten sessions. We do ask that you join us as often as possible. One of the benefits of our workshops is the ability to meet multiple times with the same men in small council. This allows men to get to know and trust each other more deeply, and therefore the depth of sharing and spirituality increases.
Our Choosing Presence Workshop will be led by Brian Mueller, Jim Heaney (author of Choosing Presence) and Jim Taylor (Illuman Weaver). This retreat is sponsored by the member chapters of Illuman Great Lakes (IN/MI, IL, MN, OH).
Registration is open (see link below). The suggested price for this workshop will be $99, yet please know you can always choose to pay what you can afford (register for as little as $20). All registrants will receive a copy of the book mailed to them. For those outside of the United States, we welcome your participation but will be emailing you a PDF of the book instead of a printed copy.

COST
Our suggested fee is $99 for the entire retreat and includes the price of a book shipped to you. Yet if you feel the fee is cost prohibitive, we still want you to join us, and will accept any registration amount of at least $20. On the other hand, if you can afford to make a donation beyond the registration fee, we encourage you to do so. Your generosity allows us to welcome those with fewer financial resources to our events.

Brian Mueller is Director of Engagement & Outreach for Choosing Presence and is an Ohio Illuman Board Member.

When registering, be sure to use the email address with which you want us to communicate with you. Also, the mailing address you provide is where we will send your copy of Choosing Presence. If either your email or your address differs from what you enter at PayPal, contact us immediately with the email you wish for us to use and the address where you would like your book to be shipped.
*All men and all male-identified persons are welcome to register without regard for religion, race, ethnicity, class, education, sexual orientation, or any other characteristic that might make anyone feel excluded. You do not have to be a member of Illuman or have participated in any other Illuman related event.

Cancellations
If you have to cancel for some reason, we request you do so before September 30, 2024. We will be happy to refund your registration fee less the $20 cost of the book/shipping. But please also consider making a donation. Our goal is to provide affordable and beneficial programs to all men on a spiritual journey.
